TOUR PROGRAMME

Meet at the Freedom Monument with your bicycles at 18:40.

Route: Freedom Monument, Esplanade, Elizabetes Street, Alberta Street, Elizabetes Street, Vīlandes Street, Ausekļa Street, along the harbour to Vanšu Bridge. We carry the bikes upstairs, cross the bridge, then continue through Ķīpsala and Pārdaugava: Āgenskalns, along the Three Brothers Church, Smiļģis Museum, Āgenskalns Market, Victory Monument, Klīversala — views of Ābeļu Dam, panoramic views, Stone Bridge, and Town Hall Square.

Route: Town Hall Square, 11 November Embankment towards the Central Market along the Daugava, 1905 Monument, Daugava bridges, Spīķeri, continuing to the Island Bridge, Maskavas District: Maskavas Street, Old Hay Market, (Jewish Cemetery), Quiet Garden, Peace Garden, Daugavpils Street, Ģertrūdes Street, St. Gertrude’s Church, Skolas Street, Elizabetes Street, Alberta Street, Elizabetes Street, Kronvalda Park, canal-side greenery, and the Freedom Monument.

Each participant is responsible for their own safety. At times, you may need to carry your bicycle to cross a bridge or pass through a tunnel, but this has never been a problem for cyclists. :)

The duration of the tour depends on the size and fitness level of the group, but is approximately 1.5–2 hours.

The tour is available in Latvian. Upon individual request, the tour can also be offered in German.
